Employee Guidelines

AhnLab has established practical guidelines for desirable employee behavior in accordance with AhnLab's Code of Ethics, and all AhnLab employees are committed to understanding and complying with them.

  1. 1. Creation and Management of Critical Information

    All information should be accurately recorded and reported, and financial and accounting data must be accurately prepared in accordance with tax laws and the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). Additionally, obtained information should not be used for personal purposes.

  2. 2. Transparent Transactions with Partner Companies

    Equal trading opportunities must be provided to all qualified business partners, and employees must not pursue personal benefits, directly or indirectly, from partner companies and their employees.

  3. 3. Establishing Fair and Equitable Trade Practices

    The Company and its employees must comply with laws related to fair trade and the protection of small and medium-sized enterprises, and in cases where stakeholders are involved, the case must be reported using the Conflict of Interest Report Form.

  4. 4. Integrity in the Performance of Duties

    Employees must not seek any form of economic or non-economic advantages from partner companies or stakeholders by taking advantage of their position.

  5. 5. Proper Use of Company Assets

    Tangible assets, as well as intangible assets like information and technology, should only be used for approved business purposes and should not be disclosed without authorization.

  6. 6. Additional Ethical Practices

    Employees must faithfully fulfill their obligations according to their positions and duties and may not engage in any secondary employment or concurrent employment without permission.

  7. 7. Compliance with the Code of Ethics

    Employees must sincerely comply with the Code of Ethics as a standard for their behavior and value judgment and must report if they become aware of any actions, either by themselves or others, that violate the Code of Ethics.

Ethical Management Activities

Activities to Prevent Unfair Trade and Unfair Competition

AhnLab conducts the following activities to promote fair and sound trade practices and transparent corporate operations.

Internal Fair Trade Guidelines

To promote fair trade practices, AhnLab posts relevant laws and regulations, key regulatory requirements, and examples of violations on its intranet, enabling all employees to access and refer to the guidelines at any time.

Contract Review and Execution Process Management

As a matter of principle, AhnLab conducts a prior review of all contracts. The Legal Compliance Team reviews the legality of all individual contract terms and conditions. The Company provides guidance on contract execution and post-contract management to ensure compliance with the Subcontracting Act in transactions with subcontractors, thereby fostering fair business relationships.

Regular Fair Trade Training

AhnLab provides regular fair trade training for both new hires and existing employees to prevent unfair trade practices and unethical conduct. Through these training programs, the Company enhances employee awareness of fair trade and promotes the establishment of a sound trading culture.

Ongoing Risk Reviews During Business Operations

AhnLab operates a dedicated department (Legal Compliance Team) through which employees may request risk reviews whenever issues arise in the course of business operations. Through case-specific risk management and continuous process improvements, the Company carries out both preventive and follow-up measures against unfair trade practices.

Voluntary Compliance by Employees

All AhnLab employees sign the Code of Conduct Pledge and are committed to conducting fair and sound trade practices and transparent corporate activities.
