AhnLab's commitment to ESG management is embedded as a system within the organization.
In December 2021, AhnLab established the ESG Team, a dedicated ESG unit comprised of personnel in charge of environment, society, and governance. The ESG Team, under the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), promotes key tasks for internalizing ESG management, including research, analysis, planning, and execution; collecting and reporting ESG data for evaluation; and conducting external collaboration on ESG.
· ① Environment: Mangages ISO 14001(Environmental Management System), discloses environmental information including GHG emission and energy usage, initiates environmental action programs, and more.
· ② Social: Manages corporate tour programs and employee donation initiatives, leads collaborative ESG campaigns (Pangyo ESG Alliance), and operates employee ESG education programs to promote the internalization of ESG management and more.
· ③ Governance: Plans ESG-related education for the board members (directors) and ESG reporting agendas, and collaborates with the Finance Team, which is the primary department responsible for the corporate governance report.
The ESG TF, which was organized in July 2021, turned into a 'Working Group' and collaborates with the ESG Team. The Working Group includes representatives from related departments such as General Affairs, Finance, Human Resources/Education, Compliance, and Infra-Services.
